Szigetköz

One of the most beautiful regions of our country, the largest island, the Szigetköz, surrounded by the Great and Moson Danube, is not accidentally called the gift of the Danube, because the area was built up by the rivers. The landscape is rich in flora and fauna, but it is a real paradise for anglers and fish enthusiasts, as almost 80% of the domestic fish species are found in the area. In addition to rivers and backwaters, smaller and larger mining lakes also offer excellent fishing opportunities, making Szigetköz a true fishing paradise.
